The First Rule of Game Management? Don't talk about Game Management

That's terrible. We all know that reffing has been bad, but to see calls going against a team for the sake of 'game management' speaks to the poison from within. These refs are being told to do this, so there's "consistency", but not so much that it might hinder the entertainment of the game.

Hard to say where this goes over the next day or so, but the NHL is definitely looking into the "hot mic" incident discussing a penalty call from the DET/NASH game

Per , Colin Campbell admits this incident is being investigated. Per , Bill Daly says the NHL is taking a look at it. It's certainly not a good look for the league.

Him or Kelly Sutherland.

These two need a permanent vacation. They’ve long been the most crooked refs the league has.

Glad they finally got exposed. Bet nothing happens though.

According to this article: https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/nhl-investigating-incident-involving-official-caught-hot-mic/

Peel and Sutherland were the refs.

Do only refs get mic'd up or is there a chance it was a linesman talking?
