Maniwaki Canuck
Not for lack of effort, but here we are. Not Demko's best game. Still proud of this team and don't want a tear-down.

Playing .600+ hockey for months was very admirable and gives us a glimpse into the future. Does it really? They always have a lackadaisical effort at the start of the year and then play hard. That’s signs of a flawed and bad team.

That fight really turned the tide against us. Could've used a powerplay though, I have a hard time believing they were a team of saints in the third. What does it say when players all of a sudden start to play to their potential? Tells me that the players just weren’t putting the effort in. MikeyD
Boys literally didn't want to compete in the third. We lost the third because they didn't want to move their skates. Really pathetic third period effort.
Popular Post -DLC-
Guys have been giving it a go...the haters will open the floodgates but most of them just wait and lurk anyhow. Sad really. This team shouldn't have even BEEN in the conversation so you have to give some credit where it's due. It's not a finished product, but it's also not a tear down. Boudreau's worked some magic with this team and they deserve to work on it a bit longer. After the start this year, who'd have ever thought they'd be battling in the last handful of games. 5 3
Popular Post Warhippy
Boeser floated like soft as hell, like bored Kovalev floated for half the 3rd period. He outright sat with his hands in the air for like 10 seconds while his stick was on the ice looking for a penalty instead fo doing anything. Myers was as soft as Kyle Wellwood without the hunger. He allowed the screen on the 2nd goal, he allowed Fiala to waltz around him like a pylon instead of doing what a D of his size should have done and Chara stiff armed him. This team out performed every possible aspect of such an awful start to the season but there's just far to much charmin in this line up that give up and float when it's convenient. Glad JR and Allvin let the team play out the season. They almost made the playoffs but it's time to start making the changes that need to be made. This game was a scathing indictment of everything that is wrong in the line up and an almost to the person highlight of who and what needs to change. 2

stawns
Truly, getting in was never really a feasible reality. It was enjoyable to sit back and watch them play well for the last few months. No disappointment in anyway 2 1

Qwags
Honestly, never expected them to make it this close. Proud of the team, but Demko is outta gas. Hopefully, we see Rathbone called up soon.
Guest
We rode this team as far as we could. Dickinson was useless today like the entire season. Can't score? How about throwing a hit on someone. JT's high risk/reward play was all risk today. Refs were terrible with some really important no calls. Garland and Petey were dynamite. Schenn and OEL were the only guys holding the other team accountable. While that's impressive for them, It was pretty pathetic for the rest of the team. I do not, and I repeat DO NOT want to see Schenn as the only guy that fights next year. For all the talk of the league getting skilled, faster, etc, teams like Tampa, Florida, Calgary, Rangers, and Minny will still be the ones that make it far with toughness and skill mixed in.
