THIS IS THE BEST FREAKIN DAY EVER!!!!!!!

I AM INCREDIBLY STOKED RIGHT NOW....my son called me at work and I screamed. (My coworkers know me, they get it).

I am going to go do some back flips now. Maybe give out money and free puppies to random strangers on the street.

ALL WHILE WEARING MY JT JERSEY!!!!!

WOOOOO

Deb is going to live it up this long weekend!

Better deal than what 99% of CDC was thinking, be curious if he got a full NTC or NMC. Okay Bo, its your turn to sign for under 7m now!

The trade Miller for futures crowd in absolute shambles right now LFG.

I am surprised. I thought Miller would insist on more than 8 million per year and I though the Canucks would be unwilling to go up to 8. The numbers are fine for the first 3 or 4 years of the deal but will probably look bad after that. So the Canucks are serious about going trying to open a Cup contending window over the next few years,.

This is better value than the Huberdeau, Kadri, or Gaudreau deals, but none of those deals will age well.

Given the market this is "fair value", but it makes me nervous.

Miller must really like Vancouver, because he probably is leaving money on the table.

Now I am not so sure about Bo. I don't see a lot of cap room for him.

Cheaper than I expected, more expensive (and longer) than I would have wanted.

At least it's over.

Even if he signed for 7m, one extra mill per year shouldn't hurt us. The toughest thing, really, is wondering how we're going to fix the rhd, but hopefully they'll find a way.
