Garland is an angry ?Elf, who (like you say @JM_) pays the price to help his team win by going to the hard areas.  Caufield should be in the minors, like Garland was when he started, so he learns how to play.  Is he going to be a cute little Smurfette, or an angry Elf?  I think he needs to be in the minors so he can learn to be angry.  He’s just too cute right now.

I also miss the 50's, I wasn't born. I didn't sign up for this $&!#. 

I don't see why Columbus adds the 1st when they have the better play (Laine with 10 points in 9 games).
I don't see why Vancouver does it either, Laine's current cap hit ($7.5 million) is what Boeser's is projected to be, so if they get Laine now I think they'll have to offer a QO at that cap hit already.

Unless Columbus is Ottawa and stingy cap-wise I don't see why they dump a scorer that they bought low on and pay a 1st to get a cheaper guy who might not score as much.

This Chychrun Guy might make our Olympic team.  Just think about our guys trying to defend with Chychrun and Makar out there.  We will be lucky to get into the quarter finals.  

tbh I don't care much about this Olympic run. Prob no Canucks on Canada's roster and I don't want to play nice with the CCP.

I think moving Hamonic back to Abbotsford might be making room for Clague. Have a feeling the Canucks made a claim, whether they’ll get him or not, we’ll see.

I don't get why Pettersson and Boeser have gone AWOL.

I get the argument that "dump and chase" doesn't suit Petey and Boeser's game, but Green has always had these Canucks teams play that style and Petey and Boeser have produced playing in this system.

I'm just at a loss with these two players.

3 years ago Seahawks fans were talking about getting a more solid offensive lines, and more depth on

receivers. But no. It's such a waste of a quality QB and you won't invest in players that will protect him.

I don't "love" any other team - but in the playoffs, if the Canucks are out - I will jump on the bandwagon of a Canadian team (if one is left - else I don't watch the playoffs at all).

For me in the playoffs its:

1. Canucks.

2. Former Canucks.

3. Potential Canucks (e..g, like when Beagle was going to be available).

4. Leafs losing.

5. Montreal losing.

6. Yeah sure, Canada.

I'm not really a fan of any other team, but I do like certain players and don't strictly "hate" everything that's not Canuck. I can't imagine living with such a dark attitude to any group other than one's own. Kind of one of the big problems in today's society.

Don't care much what he looks like so much as how he plays.

Oh yes, the Misses definitely loves the Leafs, but there’s some kind of motherly protection of Cole going on.  So I’m pretty sure she’d be mad at even a Leaf running Cole over.  She’d be saying “pick on someone your own size”.  With several select adjectives added.
