During working hours I logon and check VC's notifications for news, but in reality I don't have time to really look into the trades/signings/rumours.

When I get off work I spend alot of time walking around the camp grounds as it's very large, and especially as I am a smoker. when I finally get back to my room I don't have much energy to argue with @aGENT or @Me_ even though I'm sure there must be something I disagree with what they post about.

all I have energy is for some mind numbing tv shows on netflix (right now I'm watching The Fix, It's about 2 teams of two comedians coming up with solutions to first world problems, and yes it's as stupid as it sounds) But... comedians are dirty and raunchy so i like it.

After reading these rules, and considering the rule about other teams’ Fans coming here to anger Canuck’s fans, how can a poster, who is protecting his Canucks, and being being positive about defending Canuck’s players be trolling?  IMO we have trolls from other teams trying to get true Csnuck’s fans banned.  

Not everyone is trolling Alf. When you came to this forum, I thought incorrectly that you were a troll. I distinctly remember conversations early in your time here, where you appeared confused at what "trolling" actually was. Now you seem to have jumped in with two feet trying to stop people from expressing their honest opinions.

At the end of the day we are hockey fans, and we should be able to appreciate good hockey regardless of whether that player is wearing a Canucks jersey or not. In a similar vein there is nothing wrong with objectivity either, when a player plays bad, some criticism is justified, and vice versa when they play good, they deserve praise. 

Lately I will be honest you have been quite unpleasant, attacking people with barely any provocation. There are some posters who engage in such sort of behaviour and it is major turn-off for me. I don't understand why you have joined them. You can generally refute a troll's arguments quite easily, most of them don't watch the games so its not too difficult to push back against some narrative but this can be accomplished without personal attacks.

Let the mods determine what constitutes trolling, there have been a bunch of them banned in previous years, desi, King of ES, etc. Lets keep this a discussion forum, not a personality cult or some sort of "safe space". We are not so fragile that we cannot hear opinions that we do not agree with.

silly little devils eh? they don’t know how to write constructive criticism. there always has to be someone at fault for every loss. if someone misses an assignment, then he has to be traded or fired. they never credit the other teams play or except that their team can’t win every games. to them their team should never be outplayed. 

if their goalie lets in a couple of goals, they are rubbish, regardless if the team let him down. 

and if we win, its get rid of louie or fire the coach or make unrealistic trade where we move players they feel are not “not good enough”  for other team’s better players. 

the one i find really interesting is not giving any credit to Loui for playing well lately. The guy is Lazarus with Bo and Pearson, that line is doing great.

i have a 4 wheel scooter, the kind old cripple people drive around town on...i've not used it yet but got it a couple of years ago for 1000.00 almost brand new....i might need it one day, unless they fix my heart...

Mine is a three wheeler.  It's got coil springs for each wheel, so it's really comfy out and about.  Plus, having the single front tire makes it easy to use in the house.  It's the EZ GoGo.  . Silly name.

So glad we drafted Podz, who can skate a whole minute before being too exhausted for his coach to put him out again.

Podz has been praised for his work ethic and character by every coach he's had.  I have zero concern he can improve his conditioning.

As for Byram, he probably gets his nine games before he goes back due to injuries.

the word "weaponize" gets thrown out here a lot. We have to be careful with that, taking on other teams long term debt and crap is something that we should have done 4 or 5 years ago, but not 4 to 5 years into the future from this point forward. 

I'd rather see the cap blown on real high end skill like Panarin, or save our cap space for next year when we can really tool up for a good playoff run.

Dahlin is a stud. He's going to be one of the best defensemen in the NHL for the next 10 years, I'd guess. His rookie numbers are among the best in the past 20 years or so for defensemen and he's just been drafted too.

Say what you want, but both these kids are going backwards with their development.  Too much too soon.  Sabres looked great early, and now they look like scrubs.  Stupid management.  Ruining two good young players.  

I agree on Mittelstadt.  He was in high school at this point last year, but you are as wrong about Dahlin as you always are.  Even the experts are saying that he's having a very good rookie year, even more so when you take into account his age.

You can put Dahlin down all you want, it won't magically somehow make Hughes the better defenceman so you can crow to the world about how he's the bestest most wonderful d-man in the universe who will have superbabies with EP40.

As for the Sabres.  All I have to say is that I told you all along that they weren't as good yet as you thought they were.  They're still carrying some dead weight that they need to shed while the young players still need to get more experience.

I'm listening to music, and the cat is on my lap.  The heat is on, and there's snow on the ground.  I ate a lot of protein for dinner and had a lot of energy afterwards, so I found a workout video on Amazon Prime, so I worked out to burn some energy.  I would go outside or the gym, but it's not that safe due to the weather.  I was even looking outside at the street wondering about ice skating, but that's slim to none.

Ovi has been my favourite NHL player since Scott Niedermayer retired. The guy has a great attitude, electric playstyle, and you feel like you HAVE to cheer for him.
