We had every opportunity to win that game had we been ready to play, didn’t throw the puck away all game, and had even a little bit of finish from our top guys.

Looked like a team that was still playing preseason.

BB and EP are still in preseason form.  At least Demko is ready.

Poolman out, QH ice time was high. Bottom pair not good enough. Need Harmonic back soon.

Vancouver's crowd is easily one of the weakest in the NHL… hopefully all the corporate seasons tix get dropped and picked up by real fans who wear jerseys and actually cheer for the team.

Because they know we'll be playing catchup hockey giving up the first goal more often than not.  Give up puck possession far to often, instead of making plays and holding onto the puck.  The high flip out of the defensive zone is classic and so is the dump and change.

We were blessed with puck possession leaders in the Sedin’s. This is awful north south pond hockey. I’m taking a break till things change. I’ll peruse the PGT’s until then.

That is Travis Green hockey in a nutshell

Newsflash Green, there’s a lot of good teams in the league that have four lines and can skate. That’s literally how you build a good team.

If you’re gonna use that as an excuse every time you lose expect a lot of losses.

Don’t know what to say. It seemed like some of our players are tuning out the coach. Something is definitely wrong with Peterson. No effort, no hustle, and like most of the players get outworked tonight. It does not matter who we play we always get outshot. Frustrating to watch!

Good goal tending has been hiding the terrible plays and system we are playing. Most plays are predictable and telegraphed.

Pettersson created a cancer in the dressing room by demanding more money and not delivering

Kaprizov also demanded more money and is not delivering - he’s having a real rough start to his season.

I’m getting sick of always hearing this guy compliment the opposition. Zero accountability for him getting out coached every game.

News that Hamonic could return soon, immediately lose Poolman.

Yeah. We can't seem to have a full line up. Petey's probably hurt. Poolman just got hurt tonight. Hughes has some injury.

Unbelievable.

We're going to see soon enough what kind of team we have in this year's version of the Canucks. Do they push back against Philly on Thursday, or is it more the same come Thursday evening?

Either Hunt or Schenn will be coming in Thursday if Poolman can't go.

Podkolzin with 6 mins of ice time. excellent development, I'm sure he learned a lot from the bench.

He'll be sent down soon when Dowling is back...  Bailey is Green's new pet project!!  He for some reason really values limited players like Highmore, Chiasson, Dowling and Lammikko!!

Need Boeser and EP to be better, obviously.

Our top players not being able to make an impact / the difference has pretty much been the story so far.

Boeser especially tonight needed to finish his chances. If he's not bringing goal scoring he's not bringing much else, so he needs to get it done.

Hamonic missed the entire training camp + a few real NHL games.  He's just over 30 years old.  He'll be in Abbotsford for a bit for conditioning before he'll be wearing the Canuck uniform.
