I don't think in cheering for the Canucks and only the Canucks i hate all the other teams.  Prefer to just not acknowledge their existence.  But i do watch the playoffs pretty Canadianly (cheer for the good Canadian kids playing still)

but danault is actually a great defender, and outscores his 1st line matchups. It doesnt matter how much you score as long as you outscore your opponent. danault over 3 years when he was on the ice scored 47 more goals than his opponents or about 58% gf/ga ratio.

Watched the whole game and Edmonton was beaten to every loose puck. Vegas forwards smothered McDavid and Draisaitl all night and neither could get any space. Seems to me the key to beating Edmonton is exactly what Vegas did. Seriously, Edmonton looked to be the new Not Ready for Prime Time Players.

I don't get why Pettersson and Boeser have gone AWOL.

I get the argument that "dump and chase" doesn't suit Petey and Boeser's game, but Green has always had these Canucks teams play that style and Petey and Boeser have produced playing in this system.

I'm just at a loss with these two players.  

IMO Dahlin would be better developing in Europe.  I think the negatives of playing him now will stunt his game.  Others can disagree.  It’s an opinion board.  To me, when I watch Dahlin play, I see a scared player who is too often blowing snow.  I don’t think that’s his natural tendency, but rather he does that because he’s so young.  IMO that’s harmful to a player’s development.

Alf what are you saying man. For RHD, the Devils are one of the deepest teams. Down the middle, they're pretty solid as well. Zacha, Hischier and Hughes? Good stuff. We've got Pettersson, Horvat and Dickinson which is pretty comparable. They're better on D than us, I'd say we have a better second line and we're better in goal. Also on the wings, they don't have a Hoglander or a Garland. You've got to be fair and balanced man. 

Because they lost 6-2 to the Rangers?  It was mostly their AHL team to an NHL roster. 

I think this is the year Jack Hughes breaks out in the league. Dont know if they make the playoffs but definitely in contention if they get some goaltending.

I'm happy that TT had a good season, but I had a feeling he might come down to earth and taper off a bit.  I guess we will see for the next couple of seasons, but I wouldn't be surprised if his reg season/playoffs stats are a bit more modest.

I'm listening to music, and the cat is on my lap.  The heat is on, and there's snow on the ground.  I ate a lot of protein for dinner and had a lot of energy afterwards, so I found a workout video on Amazon Prime, so I worked out to burn some energy.  I would go outside or the gym, but it's not that safe due to the weather.  I was even looking outside at the street wondering about ice skating, but that's slim to none.
