i know how your dad feels,  l lost my younger brother a couple of years ago. i know you’ll be there for him with loving support. rip little brother, deb’s uncle.

@TNucks1 Lu apparently didn't like Hordi at all (or at least was really annoyed by him). Hordi was being a loudmouth in the locker room and Luongo apparently said to the team not to worry because he would make sure that in his contract he would ensure that Hordi wasn't going to be part of the team moving forward. He was traded like the next day. 

He also threatened to be all over the Sedins when he signed in Edmonton. He got taken out by Ballard and wasn't really heard of again. 

 hordi came to the pub i was bartending at one time asking bout some boxing match that we werent playing it was nt ufc  had a attitude to him basically  thought he was a ahole was happy we didnt have fight on 

They looked pretty heavy when Horvat blew past them all for the OT winner yesterday.

@Kurisu   It's one that someone gave me that I tweaked a bit.  (I sort of change it up when I make it depending on ingredients on hand...I didn't have chilli oil this time so I used a bit of a sweet chilli sauce I had instead, etc.

@brilac   I remember that...I too was torn but, for me, it was a no brainer.  I watched hockey and switched over in intermission...back/forth.

Here's the recipe:

1 (16 ounce) package bow tie pasta (I had none so this time I used spaghettini)

½ cup vegetable oil (I used less)

⅓ cup soy sauce (I only use Kikkoman)

⅓ cup rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

2-3 tablespoons white sugar

Dash of chilli oil (I ran out so I used about a tbsp of sweet chili sauce I had...I've also used chili flake)

½ teaspoon ground ginger

½ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

3 cups shredded, cooked chicken breast meat

⅓ cup chopped fresh cilantro

1 bunch chopped green onion 

1 red bell pepper & 1/2 green pepper

1 grated carrot

Boil and drain the pasta...set aside.  Lightly toast the sesame seeds...also set aside.

Mix the oil(s), soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, ginger, garlic and pepper together and let sit in fridge.

Chop veggies (I cut them into very small pieces and grate the carrot).

Mix the dressing into the pasta then stir in the veggies & chicken and chill for at least 2-3 hours before serving.

Top with toasted sesame seeds.

(You can omit the chicken for a vegetarian option)

I just think everyone who is a staunch anti trumper just gets way too caught up in the "basic human compassion, kindness, fairness" its politics its not a big group hug, a lot of big social programs are a net negative. 

Covid situation... just look at how horrible all the blue states have handled it, take a look at the Gov of Ny and their Mayor. Look at deaths in Ny/Cali compared to Florida or Arizona(red states)

It may not be a group hug but it's a position that's supposed to represent the people, not self interests.  

A guy who likes to yell "you're fired" at people and who points fingers in blame rather than problem solves is far too caught up in ego.

That is currently happening with one of keys on my Mac.  I have not fixed it yet. I had a similar issue on a work keyboard where the key broke in half and I replaced it with another key on my keyboard that was not useful to me. I thought it was really creative of me, but a manager did not like what I did, which it was not a new Mac anyway, and I am in charge of the computers at work.  I was saving time and money.

That reminds me, I have been looking for a heavy duty sewing machine, and everywhere I look besides eBay and some on Amazon are sold out, and when I look on sites that have some, the price is extremely high due to demand.  It was like when I wanted a bicycle, and due to the high demand, the price was extremely high.  My parents found a bicycle at a second hand shop a great price.  They live on an island, and it's still at their home.  I may get it next month depending on how things are. 

Needs more cowbell.
