      Lindholm would be interesting, I expect Edmonton finds a way to retain Larsson though. But who knows?

       

      Don't like the idea of Dumba, I don't think he'd be worth what it'd cost.

      If the Canucks offer Larsson what Edmonton offers, then yes, no chance in hell we pry Larsson away.  If the Canucks offer 5.5-6 million however, then I don’t think the Oilers would match.  People might be upset if we overpay on Larsson but we REALLY need an Edler replacement badly.  Hughes and Schmidt are our only top pairing caliber dmen but neither guy can ‘shut down.’  At this stage of his career, Edler isn’t a top pairing option any longer.

      I love Edler, but no, he's not. That seems like quite an overpayment for him though, not too keen on that. Especially in a Covid cap world. 

       

      Hopefully we can just pluck a D from a team who doesn't wanna lose him for nothing.

      speaking of chon derry, he stopped by today with a coffee. we dissected the canucks. he said to say hi to cdc. rupert is 500 miles from smithers.

      every day brings me closer to D day. looking forward to it actually.

      Well Benning did inherit a 24 year old highly skilled defensive defenseman.  Still looking to find as good defensively D man half a dozen years later.  Schmidt might be that guy.
