So sad seeing the names and faces of the victims of that crash. Chris Joseph's son was one. Just horrible.

@PhillipBlunt remember the series where carrie underwood was crying , back then I felt sorry for them, they seemed like such 'good sport's' in a losing situation , now not so much.

Apparently I'm already in send off mode. Such a mess. Came to work without my wallet. Just went to get a sandwich for lunch and also left my keys at the post office in a stop prior to the lunch stop. Gah, just set the bar real low for me today. I'll get through it.....

@-Vintage Canuck- Yes I am. If I don't lose my shoes, fall in a ditch and then get onto the I-5 accidentally beforehand.

@goalie13 Thank you. The kind words are appreciated...I really think you're right about calling in sick!
-
@NUCKER67 You too? I guess that's what it is....state of shock. PTSD. Something.

During game day talk about our twins, they played the beginning of LZ's Thank You. Already a mess.

Watching these games as things wind down, I'm soaking up every second of the Sedins, just in case. Going to be a weird day on the horizon, as a team without them skates out. Whether it's time or not, that will be awfully strange. And sad....

ya its going to be a change. What a career. I remember when they first entered the league how "soft" and "weak" they were supposed to be
"the sisters"..well look at them now.
if this is the year..i just pray we know for the last home game..or its so obvious like Lindens we can show them our true appreciation
well worth the distraction for one night

Just showed Brock at the Junos.

Cowards who run in packs and attack special needs people? There's a special place in hell for them. I work with autistic people and this makes me cringe.

Their parents must be so proud.
These types of people should be sent packing to some small Island to fight it out among st themselves.
Society doesn't need their type of ignorant behavior.Just a carbuncle on the ass of society. If I was a judge and heard what they have done it would be some time before they saw the light of day, just to protect our most vulnerable citizens.

I miss you, Fred Rogers. Life was so much simpler then.....

@debluvscanucks Tony Romo played football a week after he fractured his. That should help alleviate your fears somewhat.

Do you still love newly opened Indian restaurants?
Enjoy the game, and stick to hotdogs and popcorn.

Condolences to the Staal family and the news of Jordan's daughter's passing. So terribly sad.

I'm going to the game (again), woo! On a roll....

That game was SO much fun. I'll be back later to talk about it when I have two hours.

Going to the game, woo!

GOING TO THE GAME, WOO! Sitting in my favourite section way up top where I can hang with the crazy bats and ring the cowbell once again. Turned down those snobby club seats last game....the no fun zone is NOT for me.
-
Going to the game, woohoo. Sadly, have retired the cowbell because that last experience wasn't pleasant.

This man ♥ I see him at games and always go and say hello. And thank you.

I pass his seat going to mine at times and, at first, was reluctant to "bother" him. So, it was a quick "hello, you are one of my hockey idols" the first time I gathered enough courage to actually speak to him. It's been wonderful being able to express my gratitude for his professionalism and to share our love of this game. And, of course, I've had to mention "the call" as one of the greatest sports moments in my life to him. He is so humble and approachable.

I first met Jim Robson, similar greeting to yours Deb. When they allowed riff raff like me into the Coliseum to watch Canuck practices as well as the other visiting teams, I got the nerve to approach him and strike up a conversation. Very down to earth guy. He could write several books I'm sure. I hope someone in his immediate family is jotting down notes.

One of our student's Moms to me: "I'm so excited, my son won a chance to skate with one of the players!!". Me: "Which one?". She: "Fin! Not sure of his last name or what number he is!". (And so it begins, the first, baby steps of becoming a fan of the team).

HNIC guys saying "one guy stood out tonight". Stecher. Warrior.
