Story of the past 2 seasons. This team is cursed.

You may want to go past the last 2 years of the team and take a look at the luck of the francise since 1970. From the roulette wheel loss of 1st overall in our 1st draft, the Rangers getting extra rest day in the '94 final, losing out on Gretzky as a FA, signing Messier, Bure demanding a trade, rip Luc Bourdon, 2011, falling in the last lottery, I've missed some for sure but the franchise is near 50 years of bad luck.

All trade bait as well.

And there is that Medicine Hat connections again, first reported cases, I wonder which Canuck person was there in the last week or so.

[muhmp, moo mp] /mʌmp, mʊmp/ British Dialect

SpellSyllables
verb (used with object)
1.
to cheat.
verb (used without object)
2.
to beg.

Most fans probably don't realize how close we were to getting Gretzky.  His book says that they made a deal and everything was done. It was very late around one in the morning.  Gretzky needed to go over it with his wife because always did and he fully expected to sign in the morning after talking to her.  He didnt want to wake her up which seems reasonable....He still expected things would be fine even though he didn't do what Vancouver brass wanted the night before....Stupid.  all those break away passes to Bure and Mogilny....wow.

Plus the Bertuzzi incident and the Brashear incident and the Lidstrom goal from center ice... Luongo....Keenan...Drafting Nedved over Hall of Famer s...

The pressure to draft Nedved was intense, playing as he did for Seattle.  He just got a bit ratty after Bure arrived on the scene and stole the limelight.  Then the fans turned on him when he asked for Gretzky's stick after a playoff loss.  He had a few good years with us, the Pens and the Rangers. Not the class of Jagr, but honestly, would Mario Jr be the same player without the big guy's mentoring?

Maybe we'll sink enough now to get benning to wanna make more moves

Possibly getting rid of Edler and Eriksson for good prospects

We could likely get something for Edler.  Errikson, because of his contract is likely negative value.  If our owner had deeper pockets, he should buy out Errikson.
