Those deals that Tanev & Markstrom signed with cowtown will be regretted. Holtby, 31 has more losses then Markstrom has in wins. Over. Their. Careers. Markstrom turns 31 in January... he will also make 8 million per season for 2 seasons back to back. This is a money issue for the Markstrom, not about winning. Tanev is more of the same as we know his game, weaknesses/strengths, injury history. I'm happy neither of those contracts were offered by Benning. Hopefully some cap can be moved out, GMJB does his magic and somehow gets AP&TT somehow, sounds like he may have a few trades on the table and a few offers on ufas. Tanev, on the other hand, was the core of our D. Our D wasn't anything special, and now it just got a whole lot worse. Especially if Barrie signs. Seriously, what is this?
