Popular Post Dazzle
Let's put this into perspective. Benning got two key pieces in exchange for a 1st, 2nd (next year), and a 7th. The roster is gonna be a lot open for the newer players, so the Canucks will save money there. Whereas NYI/Phi threw away draft picks for space. 10 2 5 1

Popular Post SilentSam
This is a solid move that clears roster space for more opportunity. we’ve been handcuffed with LE for the last 5 years.. THAT alone could not wait anymore. people here need to stop looking through the Kaleidoscope when it comes to the Draft. If your not picking in the top 5 , your usually not seeing results for 2-3 years. Podz next season will cure everyone’s curdled milk feelings , Garland will shine as JT Miller has,. And OEL will fit in seemlessly, giving us a powerful pp. Now,. Move Schmidt for Zadorov,. and I might buy a season ticket . Solid Move,. Gets us out of the mud and back on the ice. 8 5

J.B. isn't trying to save his job. Any bad deals done "to save his job" would just make him unemployable by the rest of the league. 2

Breaking news the Canucks have made a trade call to the NHL head office, they are trading their 2024 2nd round pick for their own 2021 2nd round pick. The NHL office promptly hung up the phone. 1

bt116
A day that we can finally get rid of that useless plumber Loui is always a good day in my books. Good riddance. Intriguing trade. Initially hated it but now starting to like it.
Popular Post Kenny Blankenship
Well Jim went out and got his two top 9 forwards (though Garland is top 6) and upgraded our defense before free agency has even started. Where are all the whiners now? 7 1 2
24K PureCool
Jim needs to trade Schmidt for a first and Holtby for a 2nd to make this really a win.

If he is, MacEwan and Podkolzin bouldering around could be fun to watch. macewen missed his shot in van. green literally laughed aloud when asked by media about playing macewen at centre at a time when almost all of the team's centres were hurt ... he has no trust in the guy.

Popular Post 250Integra
For those saying our "prospect cupboard is dry", this is because all our top prospects are already playing in the NHL. Also, this appears to be a pretty weak draft year so losing the number 9 pick isn't so bad. Chances are, the pick will be a top six / nine player just like Garland career wise. 1

Snag a big stay at home top 4 RD and regain a late 1st and maybe time to go get a beer. 1 1

Like i said before, it wouldn't matter what he did, ya'll would be neg / hate! There's still stuff to do and maybe look at other stuff going on around the league as comparisons. Also, some of you were willing to give up a lot just to get rid of Eriksson and he did far more. OEL and Garland are good players! Ehh, I think Benning is a loser but this trade works fine for me. 1 1 1
