Oh boi. Tbh honest, I've no idea. Happened 4 years ago.

Saturday was the first game I've missed in years.   I don't even call it utter suckage because they aren't floating around, not caring out there.  The young guys have heart and speed and I find it highly entertaining, even if we do lose.

I'm just looking forward to playoff hockey no matter which teams are involved.

Honestly, Saturday's game was probably one of our best all season.

Lumme remains one of my favourites to this day.  He's awesome.

@Alflives, Wellwood was chubby, not too much. Thomas Gradin and Dave Tomlinson were also there.

I miss Dave Tomlinson doing colour on the radio games.  I thought he was very good.  Wife and I went to a lot of games back in the old Colosseum days.  Gradin was as smooth as they come.  Boudrias was my favourite before him.  Keon before him.  (You know we could have drafted Daryl Sitler!

Look at Kyle Wellwood as an example.  Granted not a great example but still an example of a guy that you look at and say, no way that is a hockey player.  Ended up playing close to 500 NHL games.

John Madden won a Selke in the early 2000's as a 5'11 190LB player. I think his kid will be ok.

Canucks drafted a guy who also was 5'11 190 lbs and won a Selke (Dirk Graham).  Too bad he won it as a Black Hawk.

No respectable GM or coach is going to tell his team to lose on purpose for a coin toss.

If you've been playing sports enough to make it to the highest professional level, there's a certain level of pride and drive to never want to lose, or you would never make it, let alone stay at that level. To me, throwing a so-called "meaningless" game near the end of the season is like a professional boxer throwing a fight for gambling reasons. It shows an absolute LACK of character and no respectable professional would do so.

Well at least the Oilers are still in 

Oiler fans will still think they have a shot even when the season is over 

They stuck around until game 74 of the NHL season. Nobody was expecting the Canucks to make it to the playoffs this year. That's improvement. Markstrom, Pettersson, Hughes, Demko, Boeser, Horvat, Gaudette, Virtanen, Roussel, Stecher, Leivo all contributing on different levels/making their debuts... lots of positives for the Canucks that hopefully is built upon next season.

Next season, I'm excited to see Hughes play out a full year, Juolevi make his NHL debut (I think he'll make the Canucks out of training camp after his first summer of uninterrupted training since his draft year), Demko playing 20-30 NHL games, Pettersson taking the next steps to being a legit NHL superstar, seeing Tyler Madden debut in March 2020, and I'm looking forward to seeing who we draft at this year's draft.

The big thing for this club this summer is if they can get rid of the contracts: Sutter, Eriksson, Spooner, and Schaller.I think they can get rid of 3/4 of those deals.
