Ma god, 1hr 48min into this 8 hour shift with absolutely nothing to do at work. C'mon give me something entertaining to read, like a Demko signing thread.

So I went for a swim for the first time in 20 years. Got changed and walked out only to see a fat old guy in the shower. So I turned around and went into the lobby and asked the cute lifeguard how to get to the pool. She said 'oh you need to shower first.' I replied 'Oh sorry, when I see a fat naked man my first instinct is to turn around and run.' Anywhoo I am freaking exhausted today.

Sad hearing Willie address the media right now. He's a good man and he did a great job here. I know it's hard to see that now but like Gillis when the smoke clears I am sure we'll all appreciate what he did for this organization.

He did his best. He didn't get the job done. He was let go. It happens to every coach in the league sooner or later. He can take solace in the fact that he's now a multi-millionaire. His next job will most likely be as an assistant coach somewhere. There are too many good names sitting on the job market right now for him to jump into an HC spot next season.

Playing video games while cooking dinner when I noticed our building was on fire. Got out then realized my oven was on. Luckily a cop went in there and turned my oven off. Back inside thankfully, no damage to my place(aside from the chicken lol). What a year...

Had one of the weirdest dreams ever last night. So I am being chased on a roof while the whole thing is narrated( I know right?) just as the voice says 'it all ends the same way.' I turn around and get shot in the chest, I fall backwards on to the ground while a bunch of cops show up, open fire with whoever shot me and drag me into a car and drove me to the hospital but I had to give them directions lol.

Ok not sure about that color but I can honestly say I don't think this applies. Also strange is I didn't sleep that great last night, 0min of deep sleep and woke up every hour.
The reoccurring dreams I have of intense pain and being helpless I think relates to the fear of being alone but I never felt or have been victimized... yet.

I totally agree with him though. Tavares played his heart out for the Islanders while he was there. He fulfilled his contract, and then he moved on. It's not like he demanded a trade mid-contract or held out like they used to in the old days. And it's not like he left to go to the Rangers. The guy is playing in his home town. Islanders fans need to let it go.

The thing with Avery though, sure his mouth is like a sewer....nothing but **** coming out. But I can't recall him ever giving a cheapsot to another player ala "The Rat Marchand" style. He hurts your feelings not your health in most cases. Marchand specifically tries to injure you physically when he isn't yapping.
Sure in the end, both are **********, but one guy (Marchand and guys like him) are on a whole other level of slime.
