How does everybody find the new lighting at Rogers

Was fortunate enough to be at the game yesterday. It looked like the entire set of arena ice lights were replaced.
The crowd looks darker on TV but it actually felt more or less the same as it did before in person, if not actually a little bit brighter. The ice was definitely lit up brighther than it used to be. Guessing it might be the contrast.
Chicago, Boston, and Washington have all recently implemented similar lighting in their arenas, so I figured it was only a matter of time before the Canucks did the same.

Ballard during his time here was probably the worst I've ever seen an athlete play in any sport ever. He struggled that badly. Just an absolute train wreck every time he was on the ice, had zero idea where to be and who to cover. I've watched the team since the early 90's and he had nothing on Murzyn, Ciccone, or any other defensemen that fans occasionally mock.
-
@Tre Mac Murzyn may have been a slow skater, but you always got an honest effort. But Ballard, yikes.

Matt Sekeres: Luigi might demand Reberto to take charge of this tea instead of Franesco

i really hate this generation guilty until proven innocent. That people believe any allegation out there, that they rather believe a liar. Alot of people (men and women's) lives have been ruined do to false allegations. what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty. Just let the courts handle stuff then then make your points, and not surprised that a certain canucks podcast and there lawyer member believe this . an if your a lawyer and you believe this you should not be practising law

there is a big difference between grafitti and a permanent digital file that can be searched and scrutinized from the comfort of your own home, anonymously.

The canucks might have some of most dumbest fans on the planet. Literally wanting Petey to act the way they want him to act. Saying he has to behave their way.

I mean, they didn't even equate the two. It's an article touching on both Bobby Orr, Elias, and how sometimes people are let down by their athletic heroes. There's a bit more written than I care to rehash, but it's an article touching on recent bits in the hockey world. You know, something that hockey media always does?
They aren't comparing Orr to Petey or vice versa, they're touching on both subjects and then wrapping it up with discussion of how heroes sometimes let people down at the end. And well, clearly there are people out there who feel let down by one or the other for varying reasons, so touching on such a thing isn't out of left field.
Whether you feel people should be disappointed or not is on you, and whether they feel disappointed or not is their own thing separate of you. Them seeing something differently doesn't make them "dumb", that's simply your perception of them.

John Gould pretty much has this nailed down.
A minority government is probably the best thing to happen, where all three parties are forced to work with each other. All of BC's interests would be considered right?
Sadly, politicians are politicians. They always vote within party lines and thus, they will never work out with each other. We're going to waste taxpayer's money when we call another election, that's a certainty. Homelessness still isn't going to be solved. It's just more false promises from everybody.
-
I minority would probably be best for the province. However, I think there's a pretty good chance that Comox-Courtney flips to Liberal once the absentee votes are counted. Pundits seemed to think there may be a lot of absentee voters in that riding due to the military base, and that they would likely favour the liberals.

I think Dan Carcillo needs to be tested

Alflives
is still available
and he'd work for scotch
(and cats, though we cannot say that on here)
would be a solid fit for the oiler braintrust
i appreciate that chiapet is no longer there
but his ghost may still be lingering
so we might even be able to leverage a 3rd round pick
in return for this hiring
as i'm sure the cdc post count might diminish by 1 or 2 a year from Alflives
given his new preoccupation having to navigate his transportation device
through the edmonton winter snow
